Happy August! Unfortunately A&M have decided not to try again due to the low odds they were told they have of achieving a pregnancy with a single embryo, frozen or fresh. Well it has been one month since our negative beta and there is still no plan in place for our next cycle. I am not used to a clinic taking so long to get cycles underway, though I guess that is par for the course with huge facilities, we are just a case number to them. THURSDAY- My IM's egg retrieval was yesterday morning. They got 11 eggs! She was recovering well by the time I texted with her in the late afternoon. Today she was told that they have 7 embryos growing! I am so over-the-moon excited for them, for us ( Read more... )

MONDAY- My IM's appts went well on Saturday and this morning, she is on track for a Wednesday egg retrieval!! She has 9 follicles growing before stims, hopefully many will fertilize successfully, then we will be transferring the best ONE 3 day old embryo and freezing the rest for backup, so this SATURDAY the 9th is our big day!!! WEDNESDAY- IM had her monitoring appointment (bloodwork and ultrasound) this morning. I did not hear from the nurses at the clinic today but they told her that it looks like her egg retrieval will be the middle of next week now instead of this Saturday.
